Barry Bales, a member of Alison Krauss’ Grammy winning band, Union Station, as well as IBMA and Grammy winning band The Earls of Leicester, and the 2016 International Bluegrass Music Association Bass Player of the Year, assembled this phenomenal group for his second annual event at the Capitol Theatre.
Ronnie Bowman, a former member of the Lonesome River band, and a renowned singer and songwriter, co-wrote the ACM 2016 song of the year, Nobody to Blame, with Barry Bales and Chris Stapleton.
Shawn Lane is a member of the award winning and highly successful band Blue Highway. He is an outstanding vocalist, instrumentalist, and an accomplished songwriter as well.
Jim Mills, a former member of Ricky Skaggs’ band, Kentucky Thunder, is recognized as one of the best banjo players in the business, and an expert on pre-war Gibson banjos.
Dan Tyminski, a longtime member of Union Station, is one of the best singers in the business. He also happens to be an outstanding instrumentalist and songwriter. You may remember him as the singing voice of George Clooney in the Cohen Brothers’ movie, “Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?”. Dan continues to perform as a member of The Soggy Bottom Boys in addition to his work with Alison Krauss & Union Station.
