“The Searchers” will be introduced by local film writer Andy Ross. Ross says: “John Ford is widely considered to be the finest director of Westerns who ever lived. ‘The Searchers’ is arguably his masterpiece. Filled with amazing cinematography that can excite even on the small screen. I can only imagine the impact of seeing this film on The Capitol’s big screen for the first time.” A 2K restoration of “The Searchers” will be presented through The Capitol’s state of the art laser projection system.
